In addition to our worldwide renowed boat experiences, we will now guide you on land into the quieter heart of the island of Capri. You will be accompanied in an intimate discovery of Capri’s nature and agricultural roots, reaching breathtaking views through ancient path that have been built long before the island’s fame and charaterize still nowaday the capillary network of Capri’s famous narrow streets.
We promise you an unique experience, showing you the other Capri with the same insider spirit that defines every Giu&Giu Club Capri journey!
The person that will disclose the wonders of the other Capri to whom is looking for a soul-restoring experience, is a certified Environmental Hiking Guide affiliated to AIGAE (Italian national authority for naturalistic excursions) and a certified Naturalistic Touristic Guide. He is in constant training to ensure, first thing first, the safety and wellbeing of the hikers. The tendency of update himself on the local knowledge grants to the participants a pleasant excursions with a lot of notions and curiosity about the surroundings.
The experience that he gathered by guiding small groups (max 15px) in excursions in 3 different continents (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Iceland, Nepal, Pakistan, Egypt, Morocco…) grants to the hikers a secure, sturdy yet relaxed guide, leaving them one only duty: enjoy the ride!
The occurence of the guide being born and raised in Capri add to this excursion the layer of authenticity and pride of place that made Giu&Giu Club Capri excursions famous, trustable and appreciated!
The excursions color code is meant to visually explain how demanding the same are and it is conceived as follows:
Green
No preparation needed, only willingness to walk is required!
Yellow
Still accessible to the vast majority of people. Being used to walk on slopes or uneven ground helps.
Red
Being used to hiking is a prerequisite here. Even if the guide is able to accompany unexperienced hikers too, the quality of the experience cannot be granted.
Same-level excursions can be paired for a more convenient price. The single excursions are carefully studied to not raise the difficulty level when two of the same colour code are paired.
All the exursions are perfectluy suitable for groups, families, conferences, events, team building activities and special celebrations.
For every excursions there is some degree of flexibiity for what concern personalisation such as meals, transportations, start and ending points etc. Please inquire to us with the form at the bottom of the page in case you have any special requests!

A very accessible walk that offers remarkable historical and scenic interest.
You will explore the two medieval nuclei of Capri’s historic center, wandering through charming narrow streets and vaulted passageways before reaching the beautiful Punta Cannone viewpoint, where breathtaking views open over Marina Piccola Bay and the Faraglioni rocks.

Green
A true Capri classic.
The Gardens of Augustus are a small yet spectacular terrace offering sweeping views over Marina Piccola Bay and the Faraglioni.
Within a small area you will discover centuries of history: the Gardens of Augustus, the Certosa di San Giacomo, and the spectacular Via Krupp, the historic serpentine road built by one of the many influential figures who have left their mark on the island.
After descending Via Krupp, you will reach the seaside area of Marina Piccola, where the Arch of Marina Piccola and the Scoglio delle Sirene guard a small pebble beach.
The excursion ends here, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy lunch by the sea or take a swim in the crystal-clear waters before continuing independently.
Alternatively, the guide offers the possibility to walk back up to the Piazzetta di Capri via the scenic Via Mulo, an ancient mule path (additional elevation gain: 170 m).

Yellow
Following the winding path toward the Roman emperor Tiberius’ villa, Villa Jovis, you will discover one of the areas of the island where Capri’s agricultural past can still be felt.
Private courtyards, cultivated land, and a peaceful atmosphere preserve the authentic character of the island.
Near the imperial villa, you will enjoy spectacular panoramic viewpoints overlooking the sea before descending toward Villa Lysis, an extraordinary early-20th-century residence built dramatically into the cliffside.
The route continues along the short Calanche trail, leading back toward the main paths.

Yellow
Probably the most iconic walk on the island.
Via Pizzolungo winds along Capri’s southeastern slopes, one of the island’s most exposed and lush areas.
Along the way, you will breathe in the scents of the Mediterranean maquis while enjoying continuous views of the iconic Faraglioni rocks, which will welcome you at the end of the route.
The excursion concludes at Belvedere Tragara, offering unforgettable views over Marina Piccola Bay.

Red
For centuries, the Passetiello (meaning “small pass” in the Neapolitan dialect) was one of the few access routes to Anacapri, the upper town of the island.
This challenging yet authentic route leads to the highest point of Capri, Monte Solaro (589 m).
The effort is rewarded with breathtaking 360-degree views across Capri, Anacapri, Ischia, Procida, the Gulf of Naples, the Gulf of Salerno, the Amalfi Coast, and Mount Vesuvius.
The experience also includes the peaceful Cetrella Valley and its historic hermitage.
From here, guests may descend on foot toward Anacapri (the guide will accompany you free of charge) or take the chairlift, which brings you directly to the center of Anacapri.

Red
The Sentiero dei Fortini is one of the most beautiful trails on the island and is located on the Anacapri side.
Starting from the center of Anacapri, the route descends through a residential area overlooking the sea until reaching the trailhead.
The path stretches for over 4 km along the coastline, with the roaring sea on one side and lush Mediterranean vegetation on the other.
This walk blends nature and history, following an ancient defensive line from the Napoleonic era, featuring the historic forts of Orrico, Mesola, and Pino, along with several smaller outposts.
The excursion ends at Punta Carena Lighthouse, the westernmost point of the island, where bars, restaurants, and beach clubs await.
